How I Work

I work in an integrative way, meaning I can draw from different counselling models and theories including humanistic, e.g person centred, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic. This helps to tailor my approach to each individual's personal needs. We are all unique and no one single approach will hold the answers to our problems. 

Areas I work in include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, loss and grief, relationship and family problems, stress, life changes, and work problems. This list is not exhaustive and there are many other issues that I can help with.

In a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space, I provide the opportunity to explore experiences, troubles and difficulties that you are having in your life and how you feel. I aim to help you comfortably begin to talk about any issues you are facing, and for you, in your own time, to find empowerment to progress in making the changes you would like to in yourlife. 

I offer a free consultation telephone call initially to see if you would like to work with me and to answer any questions you may have.
